Susan Anderson Racing will once again partner with Pocket Aces Racing on a daughter of Windsail, this time on Maleah.
A half-sister to stakes-winning Windy Lu Who and multiple stakes-placed Angel’s Sassy, Maleah has been working up a storm since arriving in the barn. Assuming no setbacks, she could be ready for her debut as soon as July.
Windsail, herself a winner on the track, is a half-sister to ten other winning runners including stakes-winner Stormy Amber, who went on to be the granddam of multiple stakes-placed Edge of Night. This is the female family of several well-regarded racehorses including the likes of Grade I-winner Things Change, dam of multiple stakes-placed Lightnin N Thunder; and multiple stakes-winning Dinner Break, who produced Japanese millionaire Satono Phantasy (Jpn) and the dam of GII Louisiana Derby victor Hero of Order.
Of course, perhaps most notable underneath the fourth dam, is the Grade I-winner turned sire of sires Harlan. The best of his sons was Harlan’s Holiday, whose own paternal line includes the super sire Into Mischief as well as Good Samaritan and Neolithic, to name a few.
